Pamela Ann Wilson

Pamela Ann Wilson, age 68, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 3, 1955, to her parents, Frank Nunn and Zella Mae (Reeder) Nunn. On June 22, 1990, Pamela married the love of her life, James Wilson, and the two were grateful to spend the last 33 years together.

Pamela attended Tipton High School. She worked for Miller’s Merry Manor as well as Tipton County Hospital for many years. Pamela excelled in patient care and was always a favorite among the families she served.

Pamela was strong in her faith, and enjoyed attending Hillside Missionary Baptist Church, where she felt like family. Of course, she adored her biological family as well. She was very committed to her loved ones, and so enjoyed having get-togethers. For Pamela, the best moments of time were spent with her kids and grandkids. She was always upbeat, encouraging, and a joy to be with. She had the gift of making even the most mundane of tasks fun. Any excuse there might be to eat out, Pamela took it. She loved being on the go and was incredibly friendly and social. You could always count on Pamela to give you a smile to brighten your day! She could often be found shopping at Goodwill; and had a knack for finding hidden treasures! Pamela very much enjoyed spending time with her friends (sister in-laws) and best friend, Evie. She also enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband, swimming, napping, collecting quilts, and anything in the color purple. Without a doubt, Pamela poured a lot of love into the lives of many. She will be greatly missed!

Those left to carry on Pamela’s legacy of love are her husband, Jim Wilson; children, Robert (Melody) West, Chris Holloway, James “Bubs” Wilson, Casey (Jonell) Wilson, Misty Wilson; grandchildren, Mercedes Barclay (Tyler Paul), Clayton West, Jesse West, Sara West (Jordan Kline), Bethany Wilson (Garrett Eades), Nichole Davila, Nathan Moctezuma, Dylan Muse, Brandon Muse; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Darlene (Alvin) Neff, Lucillie Ward, and best friend, Evie Barber.

Pamela was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Frank & Zella Nunn.

A funeral service celebrating Pamela’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home, located at 314 N Main St, in Tipton, with Pastor Bill Fields officiating. Visitation for family and friends will take place prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Committal will take place immediately following the service at Tipton’s Fairview Cemetery.

Taylor & Cowan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wilson family in their time of need.
