Season Passes are some of the most popular passes at all Six Flags parks.
In this guide, we'll explain what aSix FlagsSeason Pass is, the different types of Season Passes offered at each park, andwhen to consider purchasing it.
What is a Six Flags Season Pass?
ASix Flags Season Pass allowsyou unlimited visits to the park (and/or other parks depending on which option you choose)for all of 2024along with other benefits such as free parking and discounts on food and beverages.
Every Six Flags Season Pass lasts through 1/5/2024 except for Magic Mountain, as their Season Passes expire on 12/29/2024.
Types ofSeason Passes Offered at Six Flags
There arethree types of Season Passes atSix Flags including:
- Gold Season Pass- Parking Not Included andcontainsblockout dates
- Platinum Season Pass
- Diamond Season Pass
1. Gold Season Pass
The Gold Season Pass is perfect for visitors who are only interested in visiting one Six Flags park along with food and beverage discounts for the season.
In particular, Gold Passes are perfect for kids & families, allowingthe younger visitors to purchase a cheaper pass (as they aren't old enough to need parking perks), while one of the adults can purchase a more expensive pass that includes parking.
It's important to know that Gold Passes do not include admission to the associated water park, or free parking, and also have blockout dates.
The Six Flags Parks that offer all three passes (including the Gold Season Pass) are:
- Magic Mountain
- Over Georgia
- America
- Great Adventure
- Frontier City
- Over Texas
- Fiesta Texas
- Discovery Kingdom
Although notall Six Flags parks offer the Gold Pass, every park offers both the Platinum and Diamond Passes.
2. Platinum Season Pass
The Platinum Pass isthe best value for a Season Pass allowing you tovisit both the Six Flags park and its waterpark for the entire season withoutworrying about payingfor parking, and while enjoying a few specialty rate tickets and passes.
Platinum Pass benefits include:
- Unlimited visits to the Six Flags park and its associated water parkfrom 2023 until 1/5/2025
- (Magic Mountain's Season Pass is valid through 12/29/24)
- Free General Parking
- 1 Skip the Line Pass
- 2 Specialty Rate Friend Tickets
- 15% Food and Merchandise Discounts
3. Diamond Season Pass
The Diamond Pass provides you with ultimate benefits for the entire season not just at one Six Flags park, butatall Six Flags locations.
TheDiamond Pass is perfect for visitors who want to maximize every perk thatSix Flags offers, such as VIPentrance & loungeaccess,complimentary tickets/passes, Preferred Parking, and All-Season Drink Bottles.
Diamond Pass benefits include:
- Unlimited visits toall Six Flags parks and their associated water parks from 2023 until 1/5/2025(Magic Mountain's Season Pass is valid through 12/29/24)
- FreePreferred Parking
- Access to the VIP Entrance
- 4 Skip the Line Passes(Darien Lake Only Offers 1 Skip the Line Pass)
- 5 Specialty Rate Tickets
- Season Drink Bottle
- 50% Off Flash Passes
- 50% Off Cabanas During the Week
- 20% Off Food and Merchandise
- Access to the VIP Lounge & Waterpark Seating
It's important to know that after purchasing a Diamond Season Pass, you must visit the park/waterpark location you bought it from before using it at any other location.
This means if you purchased your Diamond Pass from Magic Mountain, you'll need to visit and use your Diamond Pass at Magic Mountain or Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles first, before being able to use it at another location.
How to Purchase Your Six Flags Season Pass
You can purchase your Six Flags Season Pass in full or with a payment plan directly from theSix Flags site, the Six Flags app, or in person at the park.
Spread Out Your Season Pass Payments Over Several Months
Six Flagsoffers the FlexiblePay payment option which allowsvisitors tospread their Season Pass Payments over6 months, rather than needing to pay it all at once.
How FlexiblePay works:
- Pay a 1 Time Initial Fee at Check Out
- Pay 5 Fixed Monthly Payments Starting the Next Month After Your Initial Fee Was Paid
- For Example:
- Month 1 = $20 Initial Fee
- Month 2-6 = $17 Monthly Payment
If you later decide you'd rather pay the balance off in full, you can also do so through their payment portal.
Pay For Your Six Flags Season Pass in Full
FlexiblePayisn't the only option to purchase your Season Pass, as you can also choose to pay the full price in one payment instead.
You'll simply select 'I would like to pay for mySeason Pass in full today', review the total amount, and checkout (rather than reviewing the monthly paymentbreakdown and agreeing to those terms).

During checkout, you will be given the option to upgrade your pass at an additional cost choosing from a variety of optionsincluding:
- Season Flash Pass- Skip the line for your favorite rides

Whichever upgrades you purchase will also last for the entire Season that your Season Pass is valid for.
When Should I Get a Season Pass?
If you're planning on visiting the park at least 2 times in a season, a Season Pass may be a good option for you, as the Gold and Platinum SeasonPasses pay for themselves in under 2 (daily ticket) visits.
Can I Upgrade My Six FlagsTicket to a Season Pass?
Yes, you can upgrade yourSix Flags daily admission ticket intoaSeason Passby visiting either Guest Services, the Information Center, or a ticket booth with yourcurrent ticket confirmation andyour IDbefore leaving the park.
